Hebrews 12:25 – 13:6
What stood out to me the most of when the Word said in chapter 13 and verses 5-6:
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?”
Deuteronomy 31:6, 8, and Joshua 1:5 say the same thing; that God will never leave us or forsake us.
No matter what we do, no matter how many times we may turn our back on Him because of sin, disobedience, disbelief, etc. He will always be there. He will never leave our side, nor will he ever forsake us. He is there during the bad times, the good times, when we cry, when we get angry – He is always there.
That is comforting.
